Why another new Business Intelligence Service for Europe?

Today we launch QlikPower - a new specialist company exclusively focused on delivering solutions and services based on QlikView - the fastest growing Business Intelligence company in the world.
Why are we doing this? Well, over the last few years as CEO of ProStrategy I realised that Business Intelligence applications were still very much in demand by our customers despite the huge downturn in the economy. And QlikView was still increasing in terms of customer numbers and market share.
The reason for this is because QlikView can be operational with your own data in one or two days and is quiclky adopted by all management as it requires minimal user training (there is no end user manual)
In ProStrategy we were also promoting Cognos, which is very much a traditional BI product set which is more appropriate for the larger organisations with bigger budgets. This presented us with a conflict of interests when we were asked to propose a solution and prevented us from nailing our colours to the mast.
So when we merged the ProStrategy business with Colman Computer Services in late 2009 I saw the opportunity to exit with the existing QlikView business and concentrate this business in a completely separate company.
We have named the new business - QlikPower - which is closely aligned with the QlikView brand, and hopefully will allow us to identify with the growing number of customers using the product throughout Europe. QlikView is the fastest growing Business Intelligence company in the world with over 12,000 customers and over 500,000 users in more than 90 countries.
We already have a significant user base which have all agreed to come with us into QlikPower and our consultants will continue to provide Professional Services to them as before.
In conjunction with our our sister company - SiliConCloud - which specialises in Inbound Marketing methods using Hubspot - we intend promoting our QlikPower services throughout Europe - we will also produce many exciting new QlikView applications so please subscribe to our web site or visit us from time to time.
